Pastor William R. Chapman, was born in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania. He married Adria in 1982. They have three children, Bryana, Caleb and Benjamin.

He has served in pastoral ministry since 1980. Having served churches in Virginia, Florida, Colorado and Texas before coming to Michigan. Pastor Chapman graduated from Liberty Baptist College (1980)) and Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. (9191) He also was a member of the School of Religion Faculty at Liberty University.

He is involved in community activities through service clubs and The Chamber of Commerce. He also has held office in local government in Tampa, Florida and Lakewood, Colorado. While ministering in Texas, he served as a Chaplain with the City of Odessa Police Department.
